Our patent pending technology literally tells a switchboard application if one of your smart phones is in a call, available, or unavailable. Pictured below are the switchboard applications. You can load the switchboard applications on your PC, Android, and BlackBerry. The iPhone and Windows 8 switchboard are coming soon.
Pictured below from left to right, top down are the PC Switchboard App, Android Switchboard App, and BlackBerry (version 5 to 7) Switchboard App. you can click on the picture to download the appropriate application for your device. You must install the PC software on at least one Windows PC.
The BlackBerry 10 switchboard app can be downloaded using the download links at the bottom of this page.
After you have downloaded the switchboard application on your devices and PC, run the Windows Manger on a PC. The Phone3 Manager can be found as an icon on your Windows PC's desktop. Email us for a Server Id and Key. Enter the Server ID and Key in the appropriate field and click update, you will need to specify the server ID and key in each and every device and application you want to use. You may now add users phones to monitor on the switchboard application. Enter the name of the person and phone number associated with their Smartphone then click the "Add" button, and follow the onscreen instructions.
Once you have the manager configured and have added the names and numbers of the people you wish to see in Phone3 switchboard. You are almost done. The last step is to download the Phone3 app to your Android (version 2.3.3 and up) or Blackberry (version 5.X to 7.X). You can download the apps by clicking on the screen shots of the app below. From left to right is the Android App then the Blackberry App. The iPhone and Windows 8 apps are coming soon. The BlackBerry 10 reporter is available and functions however there is currently no way to automatically start the app when your phone boots, so you must load the app manually each time your phone is rebooted. With the app installed on your phone enter the Server ID and Key provided then select "UPDATE". To test the app select "Unavailable" and your status should change to "Unavailable", then try "Available" and your status should change to "Available". You should also notice that the phones state changes in the Phone3 Switchboard application on your PC at the same time.
It works like this, when your phone is ringing on an inbound call your number shows available until you answer the call. When you dial out, your number is shown as Line In Use until you hang up. While you are in a call your phone number shows as Line In Use. Finally when your phone is idle or not in a call you will show as available.
If you do not wish to be disturbed you can press the Unavailable button on the Phone3 app screen on your smart phone and you will show as Unavailable to the switchboard app.
To make our Android or BlackBerry 10 App even more useful, we recommend you download AutoStart free from the play store. AutoStart can be found here. Set AutoStart to load the Phone3 app on device startup.
Our BlackBerry app will automatically start on device startup and begin reporting your status.
